The sequel to the darkly comedic first-person shooter, High On Life, launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC on Friday, February 13th, 2026, and is immediately available to players with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, marking Squanch Games’ second title to debut “day one” on the service.

High On Life 2 casts players back into a galaxy threatened by an intergalactic conspiracy, following a bounty hunter whose life is disrupted when a figure from their past places a bounty on their sister’s head. Players will once again team up with a cast of talking alien weaponry, utilizing shooting, stabbing, and skateboarding mechanics to combat the forces of an “EVIL pharmaceutical conglomerate” attempting to commodify human life, according to a description released by Xbox.

The game is available via Xbox Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate subscriptions. Preload availability revealed install sizes of approximately 60GB for Xbox Series X and 44GB for Xbox Series S.

The original High On Life, released in 2022, proved popular with Game Pass subscribers, and the sequel continues that partnership, offering access to the game through both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
