Heritage Audio Expands Direct Injection Lineup wiht Four New DI Boxes

Heritage Audio has announced the release of four new direct injection (DI) boxes-the PDI,‌ PDI2, P OF ONE, and a currently unnamed single-channel option-designed for both studio recording and live stage applications. These passive ‌DI boxes aim to ‍provide⁤ impedance matching, signal balancing,⁢ and‍ ground loop isolation‍ for clean audio signals.

The new ‍models address a⁢ critical need for reliable DI solutions in modern audio‌ production. ‍DI boxes are essential for⁢ connecting instruments with high-impedance, unbalanced outputs ⁢(like guitars and basses) to mixing consoles and⁣ audio ⁢interfaces with low-impedance, balanced inputs. By‍ converting the signal, DI⁤ boxes minimize noise, reduce⁣ signal loss, and⁣ ensure ⁣optimal sound quality. The Heritage Audio⁤ DI boxes ⁤utilize HA-DI transformers with nickel cores and MU-METAL shielding to further enhance⁤ signal clarity ⁤and reject⁢ interference.

Key Features Across the Range:

*‍ PDI: A single-channel passive DI box‌ featuring one ⁤6.3 mm balanced input,⁤ one 6.3 ‌mm balanced thru output, and one XLR balanced output.dimensions are 130 x 77 x 50‍ mm,with a weight‍ of 0.558kg.
* ⁢ PDI2: ⁢A two-channel⁢ passive DI box with two 6.3 mm balanced inputs, two 6.3 mm balanced thru outputs, and two XLR balanced outputs. It measures 130 x ⁤158‍ x 50 mm and weighs 0.868kg.
* P OF ⁣ONE: A single-channel passive DI box offering one 6.3 mm ‍balanced input, one 6.3 mm⁣ balanced ‌thru‍ output, and one XLR balanced output. Its dimensions are 130‌ x 77 x 50 mm, and it ⁣weighs 0.495kg.
* ‌ Common Features: All ⁤models include a -15 dB ⁣PAD switch for handling high-level signals and ‍a Ground/Lift switch‌ to eliminate ground loop hum.
