A handwritten note from Taylor Swift to Liam Payne, revealing her support for the late singer, is set to go to auction next month. the note, postmarked from Nashville, Tennessee adn sealed with a “T” wax seal, is estimated to fetch between $6,570 and $13,140.
Swift penned the message shortly before Payne’s tragic death in October 2024, and gifted it to a close associate, according to Omega Auctions. The note offers a glimpse into their relationship and provides a poignant reminder of Swift’s encouragement for Payne, writing that she was “always cheering” for him. The auction arrives less then a month after the one-year anniversary of Payne’s death after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
The note is marked “Liam” on the envelope and features small star drawings. Bidding will open on December 2nd.
