Helicopter Lands After Car Flips Over Roof in Crash on D3 Highway
A Mazda vehicle rolled over multiple times and came to rest on its roof along a major transport corridor in the South Bohemian region, triggering a large-scale deployment of emergency services. Regional rescue reports confirm the violent crash drew an immediate multi-agency response, including an air rescue helicopter that was later stood down after ground crews assessed the situation.

Rapid Deployment and Self-Extraction
The Regional Medical Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region (ZZS JčK) mobilized quickly after receiving urgent notifications. Dispatchers initially sent a crew from Čimelice, while an air rescue helicopter was scrambled concurrently to the site.
According to ZZS JčK spokesperson Vojtěch Míra, the passenger car suffered a series of rotations before landing upside down off the roadway. Two people were inside the automobile at the time of the crash. Both managed to extract themselves from the wreckage independently before emergency personnel arrived.
Medical Evaluation and Hospital Transport
First responders evaluated two individuals at the scene: a man approximately 30 years of age and a woman around 25 years old. Both occupants were conscious, communicative, and presented no indications of severe trauma. The male patient reported back pain, while the female patient experienced pain in her head and spine.

Given the severe mechanical forces involved in a multi-roll rollover, emergency teams immobilized both patients as a precautionary measure. Because ground units successfully handled the transport and patient stabilization, the dispatched air rescue helicopter was stood down and returned directly to its base without patient loading.
