Actress Finds Solace in Daughter’s Message
Santibáñez Connects with Deceased Child Through Psychic
Actress and legislator Marisela Santibáñez recently participated in a television program aiming to connect with her late daughter, Rafaela, who passed away 14 years ago. The session provided Santibáñez with emotional messages from her daughter, offering a profound sense of peace.
A Mother’s Grief and Hope
Rafaela died at the age of 12 from leukemia. Her parents made the difficult decision to end her suffering on a June morning in 2011, facing a grave prognosis.
Seeking comfort and connection, Marisela Santibáñez appeared on the program You Have to Say It, which features psychic Pablo Canaliza who facilitates communication with departed loved ones. Santibáñez expressed her long-held desire to hear from her daughter, noting that Rafaela would have turned 22 this year.
The Psychic’s Revelation
During the session, Pablo Canaliza conveyed messages initially from Rafaela‘s great-grandparents, assuring Marisela that her daughter was not alone and felt her constant presence.
The psychic then delivered more direct words attributed to Rafaela:
“He says that a girl cannot be locked up, nor could I be in the condition that was going to stay from this. Therefore there was no life for her in that, he says.”
“He says that you had the nobility, with dad Juan, to do this process of saying ‘so far, it ends, we will not continue with this because it is not life for her’.”
Canaliza shared further insights, indicating Rafaela felt relief after midnight, recognizing the end of suffering for both herself and her mother. The psychic conveyed that Rafaela recalled her mother’s comforting words and presence, alongside her father, throughout her illness.
Marisela Santibáñez, visibly moved to tears, asked through the psychic:
“Tell him that I love her. Ask him if everything he done is correct …”
Canaliza provided a reassuring response, indicating that Rafaela felt pride in her mother’s actions. Pablo Canaliza also advised Santibáñez to donate her daughter’s belongings.
Connecting with a lost child can be an incredibly difficult experience. Studies show that between 4% and 10% of bereaved parents report experiencing hallucinations or sensing the presence of their deceased child, a phenomenon often linked to the grieving process (Source: Journal of Affective Disorders, 2005).
