Al-Nassr Integrates Harun Kamara into Training Squad Ahead of official Announcement
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – Al-Nassr Football Club has begun integrating striker Harun Kamara into its first-team training, according to reports from Al-Riyadiah, signaling the forward’s impending official transfer from the club’s youth system.
Kamara arrived at Al-Nassr’s headquarters prior to Friday’s session to finalize his contract, as reported by the “Sports-Urgent” account on X (formerly Twitter). While neither Al-Nassr nor the youth team have formally announced the deal, Kamara participated fully in training alongside his new teammates.
The young striker is expected to make his official debut with Al-Nassr on September 14th, when the team faces Al-Ettifaq in the second round of the Saudi Roshen League.
The training session saw absences due to injury. Defenders Abdel-Ilah Al-Omari and winger Ayman Yahya both missed the dual training sessions. Yahya is recovering from a muscle injury sustained during a recent team match, while Al-Omari continues to recover from a foot joint injury suffered before the same fixture.
Under the guidance of Portuguese coach Georgy Jesus, Al-Nassr’s technical staff has scheduled a training session for saturday, followed by a day of rest for the players on Sunday. Preparations will resume on Monday as the team focuses on their upcoming league match.
Al-Nassr began their Roshen League campaign with a dominant 5-0 victory over Al-Qadisiyah. This followed a narrow defeat in the saudi Super Cup final against Al-Ahly,which was decided by a penalty shootout in Hong Kong.
