Harrisburg Digs Out After Significant Snowstorm

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, ⁣continued recovery efforts on Tuesday following a⁤ ample snowstorm that​ impacted ‍teh city on Sunday.​ City public ‌works crews are prioritizing the clearing of downtown streets⁤ to facilitate access for businesses adn residents.

The storm brought significant ‍snowfall accumulation, disrupting transportation ​and daily⁢ life. While ⁢specific snowfall totals varied across the city, many areas reported⁤ over a foot ‌of snow according to AccuWeather.

The Harrisburg Department of ⁤Public works has been working around ‌the ​clock ‌to clear major thoroughfares and ensure emergency vehicle access. Efforts are now focused ​on residential streets,tho progress is expected⁤ to be slower due to the volume ⁣of snow. Residents are encouraged to exercise caution while traveling and to⁢ allow extra time for commutes.

“Our crews have been working tirelessly since‍ the ‍storm began to ensure the safety and accessibility of ​our city,” said a ‌spokesperson for⁣ the Harrisburg Department of Public Works. “We appreciate the‍ patience of our residents as we continue these efforts.”
