Hailee Steinfeld compared to Taylor Swift after animated Bills game reaction
Hailee Steinfeld drew comparisons to Taylor Swift on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, after cameras captured her animated reactions during the Buffalo Bills’ 37-34 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. The Monday Night Football Week 5 game featured a clash between Super Bowl contenders and the two most recent league MVPs, Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford.
The viral moment occurred during a critical play where Josh Allen scrambled for a 21-yard gain on third-and-17. Steinfeld, Allen’s wife, was seen jumping, pointing, and clapping. Lip-readers believe she shouted, “Go, Josh. Let’s go, Josh! Let’s f**king go!” while other reports indicate she yelled, “Let’s go, Josh! Let’s go, Josh! Come on already!”
Comparisons to Taylor Swift
The display of enthusiasm led to immediate parallels with Taylor Swift, who is known for cheering on her husband, Travis Kelce, during Kansas City Chiefs games. While Swift frequently appears in the Chiefs’ suite, Steinfeld had previously remained “almost invisible” at games despite her fame as an actress. Steinfeld and Allen welcomed their first child earlier this year. Until now, her only public link to the NFL was a post from ten years ago celebrating a Super Bowl win by the Denver Broncos.
The comparison sparked debate among fans on X, formerly Twitter. One user wrote, “Hailee > Little boy Swift,” while another claimed, “Tay Tay is nothing compared to Hailee.”
Josh Allen Secures First Overtime Win
The emotional reaction coincided with a milestone for Josh Allen, who secured the first overtime win of his NFL career in Week 5. Allen recorded 210 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while adding 121 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Bills’ Season Outlook
With the victory over the Rams, the Bills move to a 4-1 record. Their upcoming schedule includes a Week 6 visit to the Las Vegas Raiders, followed by a Week 7 bye and subsequent matchups against the Baltimore Ravens and the undefeated Minnesota Vikings.
