Gyeonggi-do Agency Launches Training to Boost Traditional Market Expertise
Gyeonggi-do Market Promotion Agency (Gyeonggiwon) will offer competency enhancement education for traditional market and alley commercial managers through December 31st. The program aims to equip managers with practical skills in business analysis,organizational operation,and marketing,ultimately fostering growth within local economies.
The training encompasses three core components: capacity building education tailored to specific divisions and regions, online special lectures featuring live streaming sessions, and two-day, department-specific workshops designed to strengthen networks and collaborative problem-solving.Managers will also participate in a project plan contest and receive customized consulting services.According to Gyeonggiwon Director Kim Min-cheol, ”Traditional markets and alleys are the core foundations of the local economy,” and the agency anticipates the training will empower managers to become “commercial experts with capabilities.”
The curriculum focuses on strategy design and execution, enabling managers to develop and implement plans suited to their commercial areas. Gyeonggiwon concurrently held an ‘Integrity and Human Rights Campaign’ to promote ethical conduct among public officials and within the traditional market community.
