ATHENS, Greece – A new exhibition, “Phoenix,” opened⁢ at the byzantine and Christian Museum in Athens, presenting a rare collection of silver and copper dies and medals relating to Ioannis Kapodistrias, the⁢ first head of state⁣ of autonomous Greece.The exhibit features‍ commemorative and anniversary medals honoring Kapodistrias, alongside sculptural works like⁣ the⁣ “medal of Rebirth” and ⁤depictions of⁤ the “Wreath of Victory.”
