Grange Insurance Names Steve Marohn Commercial Lines President
Columbus, OH – August 29, 2024 – Grange Insurance today announced the appointment of Steve Marohn as President of Commercial Lines, effective promptly. Marohn brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role, poised to lead the growth and expansion of Grange’s commercial lines business.
This appointment comes as Grange Insurance continues to strengthen its position in the commercial insurance market. Marohn’s leadership will be instrumental in capitalizing on emerging opportunities and delivering enhanced solutions to businesses across Grange’s footprint. The Commercial Lines division represents a critically important portion of Grange’s overall business, and this strategic hire underscores the company’s commitment to this sector.
Moast recently, Marohn served as Executive Vice President, National Partner Solutions at The Hartford, where he managed a national $600 million small commercial portfolio. Prior to that, he spent 18 years with AIG in various underwriting and field leadership positions, including four years in Tokyo overseeing commercial portfolios for Japan and South Korea.
Marohn is actively involved in industry leadership, currently serving on the Board of Governors for the insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF).He has previously held roles including Past Chair, member of the IICF Western Division Board of Directors, IICF Global Membership Founding Circle member, IICF 30th Anniversary Committee member, and IICF Board of Governors Compensation Committee member.
