Grand View University has expanded its board of trustees with teh appointments of Dr. Christi Taylor, Mark West, and Brian Ohorilko, the university announced today. The new members bring diverse expertise in healthcare,finance,and gaming,poised to contribute to Grand View’s strategic direction and continued growth.

Dr. Christi Taylor, currently chief medical officer for Clover Health‘s value-based care division and president of the Iowa Medical Society, offers a wealth of experience in healthcare conversion and quality betterment. Mark West, a veteran executive from Principal Financial Group and a Grand view basketball alumnus, provides expertise in business, tax planning, and a demonstrated commitment to community service.
Rounding out the new appointments is Brian Ohorilko, the incoming president and CEO of Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino, and current general manager. Ohorilko brings two decades of experience in the Iowa gaming industry, including leadership in regulatory developments and industry expansion. He also maintains a strong connection to Iowa athletics through coaching and officiating, including state championship games.
