Global Concert ‘Grace for the World’ Streams Live from St. Peter’s Square
Vatican City – A star-studded lineup including Pharrell Williams, karol G, John Legend, and Jennifer Hudson will perform tonight, September 7, 2024, in a free concert titled “grace for the World” held in St. Peter’s Square. The event, which begins at 8:30 PM CEST, marks a historic moment as Karol G becomes the first contemporary Latin American artist to perform in the iconic location.
The concert aims to raise funds for projects supporting children in vulnerable situations globally, organized by the Scholas Occurrentes foundation. Beyond the musical performances, attendees and online viewers will witness a breathtaking drone and light show inspired by the sistine Chapel’s masterpieces, featuring over 3,000 drones orchestrated by Nova Sky Stories. The event’s message centers on unity and global solidarity.
Pharrell Williams will perform with his choir, Voices of Fire, alongside Andrea Bocelli. additional artists scheduled to appear include Kpop singer BamBam, Teddy Swims, the hip-hop duo Clipse, Angélique Kidjo, Jelly Roll, and the gospel choir of the Diocese of Rome.
