Brandon Moore has been promoted to President of Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI), the company announced February 20, 2026. Moore will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, roles he has held since joining the real estate investment trust in January 2014. The promotion, effective immediately, was disclosed during GLPI’s fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call. Moore’s expanded responsibilities come as GLPI manages a portfolio of gaming and entertainment properties across 18 states, including those leased to major operators such as Bally’s Corporation, Boyd Gaming, and Caesars Entertainment. Since Moore joined GLPI, the company’s property count has grown significantly, from 17 to 61 in 2024. He previously oversaw critical legal and operational functions during this period of expansion. A key achievement highlighted by the company was Moore’s role in structuring the tax-free spin-off of GLPI from Penn National Gaming (now Penn Entertainment) in 2013. This transaction, which required a Private Letter Ruling from the IRS, established GLPI as an independent real estate investment trust. Prior to joining GLPI, Moore served as Assistant General Counsel at Penn National Gaming, where he was involved in numerous mergers, acquisitions, and securities matters, including the initial structuring of the GLPI spin-off. Before his tenure at Penn, Moore practiced law at Ballard Spahr in Philadelphia as Senior Counsel, advising clients on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and fund formation. Moore’s LinkedIn profile confirms his current position and location at Gaming and Leisure Properties in Reading, Pennsylvania. GLPI has not announced any immediate changes to its financial strategy following Moore’s promotion. The company’s next scheduled earnings call is set for November 2026.
