GIGABYTE: Empowering Telcos with Network Data Intelligence & Automation

GIGABYTE Technology unveiled an expanded portfolio of conclude-to-end artificial intelligence infrastructure designed for the telecommunications industry at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, according to a company press release. The new offerings aim to enable telecom operators to transform network data into intelligence, automation, and new revenue streams as networks evolve from data carriers to AI-powered digital platforms.

At the core of this transformation is what GIGABYTE terms the “AI Factory,” a system designed to convert network and subscriber data into operational intelligence and commercialized AI services. To address this need, GIGABYTE is introducing the GB300 NVL72, a liquid-cooled rack-scale platform integrating 72 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 NVIDIA Grace™ CPUs within a single system.

The GB300 NVL72 utilizes NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand or NVIDIA Spectrum-X™ Ethernet, and NVIDIA ConnectX®-8 SuperNIC™s, and is optimized for large-scale AI training and inference workloads. GIGABYTE states this configuration will allow operators to automate operations, optimize network planning, and deploy AI-driven services at telecom scale.

GIGABYTE, a Taiwanese manufacturer founded in 1986, is known for its computer hardware, including motherboards and graphics cards.
