GCC Statistical Center Releases 2024 Economic Outlook Report
The Statistical Center for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) has published its annual “Prospects for Economic Performance 2024” report, providing a complete analysis of the region’s anticipated economic trajectory. The report, titled “enabling Financial Sustainability and Promoting Non-Oil growth,” aims to equip policymakers and researchers with data-driven insights to support economic development across GCC member states.
This year’s report delivers an integrated assessment of key macroeconomic indicators for 2024, including projected economic growth rates, inflation trends, the state of public finances and debt, and the performance of financial markets. It also examines monetary and banking policies, foreign direct investment flows, foreign trade dynamics, and conditions within the Gulf labor market. The release underscores the GCC Statistical Center’s commitment to fostering informed decision-making and bolstering economic diversification efforts within the region.
