Gaza Strike Kills nine Children of Doctors; Israeli army investigates

According to Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the civil Defense association, the bodies of the nine children, some of whom were charred, were recovered from the home of Dr.Hamdi al-Najjar and his wife,Dr. Alaa al-Najjar.

Bassal further stated that The Israeli occupation has targeted (their) house […] In the Gizan al-Najjar district in Khan Younès.
Injuries and Aftermath
The strike, which occurred around noon (9 a.m.GMT) on Friday, also left Dr. Hamdi al-Najjar and another child, Adam, “seriously” injured, according to Bassal. Al-Nasser Hospital in Khan Younès reported that the only surviving child of the siblings is 10 years old.

When questioned about the strike, the Israeli army told AFP that its aircraft had struck several individuals suspected of operating from a adjacent structure
