Poland Gas Prices to See Significant Drop Starting July 1, 2025

Starting July 1,2025,Polish households and public institutions will experience a welcome decrease in gas prices, offering significant relief to home budgets. Approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE), the new tariff promises savings of up to PLN 1,000 annually for gas-heated homes.

Key Details of the New Gas Tariff

The price of gas will drop by 14.8 percent, setting the new rate at PLN 204.26 per megawatt hour (MWh). This rate will be effective for one year, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

New Net Prices for Gas

Effective July 1, net prices (excluding excise duty) for gas in tariff groups W.1-W.4, pp. 1-S.4, and Z.1-Z.4 are set at 20.426 penny per kilowatt hour (previously 23.965 gr/kWh). For higher consumption groups (v. 5, pp.5, and z.5), the new price is 20.386 penny per kilowatt hour (previously 23.918 gr/kWh).
