YPSILANTI, Mich.- The Detroit Mercy Titans secured a 71-62 victory over the Eastern Michigan‌ Eagles on‍ Wednesday night at the ⁤convocation ​Center, marking their fourth win of the season. Graduate student Jasmine ⁣edwards ⁣led all scorers⁣ with 21 points, shooting 8-for-14 from the field, and adding⁣ eight rebounds. ⁤The win continues a promising start for Head Coach Kiefer Haffey’s squad,building momentum after a strong showing ⁢in early-season games.

detroit Mercy (4-2) showcased resilience, overcoming a slow⁤ start and ​battling through a tight contest against their in-state rivals. The Titans trailed by as many as 10 ⁤points in the first half but rallied with ⁣a strong defensive effort ‌and efficient offense in the second half, outscoring Eastern Michigan 41-30. Aaliyah McQueen contributed 14 points and seven ⁣rebounds, while Makayla Jackson added ​12 points.
