Gambsheim Virades de l’Espoir: Shows and Events Against Cystic Fibrosis

September 15, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

As communities across France prepare for the late-September charity calendar, the upcoming 14th edition of Les Virades de l’espoir in Gambsheim is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the local leisure zone. According to France ADOT 67/68, the solidary initiative invites participants to walk, run, or roll across 5 km and 10 km courses to support Vaincre la Mucoviscidose in its decades-long fight against cystic fibrosis.

Logistics and Course Offerings at the Gambsheim Leisure Zone

Staged annually across France on the final weekend of September, the event provides vital backing for research acceleration. Per France ADOT 67/68’s event outline, the Gambsheim iteration features traditional 5 km and 10 km paths open without prior registration, where participants can collect their chasubles at the dedicated pedestrian start stand. Beyond foot travel, visitors can navigate the site by stroller, scooter, or foot under the national banner of giving breath to those who lack it.

Stage Performances and Multi-Activity Scheduling

The 2025 program runs extensive stage performances and family-friendly attractions from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with catering areas remaining open until early evening. Stage highlights span physical culture, regional dance, and entertainment acts, beginning with morning yoga and a Zumba session by Atomic Fit Dance at 10:30 AM. Subsequent acts include folk dancing from D’Sunneblueme vun Gambse, a Ram Muay demonstration by Bilal Bakhouche Chareuf, Latin dance with Nathalie and Rudy Grandpre Uno, and a musical tribute to Julien Clerc performed by Stéphane Lohr.

Afternoon schedules feature magic acts by Lucas, a pin-up parade by Rosie Jo’s, Tai-Jitsu demonstrations via the Strasbourg Tai-Jitsu Association, fire breathing from Burn ‘n Light, country and new line dancing by DNarre Dancer, and French variety performances by Johnny Gence. The late afternoon brings Portuguese folklore from Afp Saudades De-Portugal, pop music and Miss Ronde Univers 2022 Séverine de Close, concluding with Caribbean music from Biguine e ka.

New Attractions and Community Partnerships

Alongside the main stage, the 2025 layout introduces several new installations alongside returning favorites. According to France ADOT 67/68, newly added attractions include retrogaming stations, a zipline, and an electric bicycle obstacle circuit. Other activities feature the Amicale 2cv Alsace display, Passion Mustang 67, naval modeling, cosplay groups, mascot appearances, carriage rides, treasure hunts, storytelling, Fanabriques displays, handball initiations, archery, photo souvenirs, face painting, giant wooden Sjoelbak games, children’s amusements, bouncy castles, trampolines, recycled jewelry, knitted beanies, and a raffle.

Food stalls throughout the grounds supply regional sustenance, offering grilled meats, tarte flambée, pizzas, escalopes, pumpkin soup, galettes, crêpes, and churros. Local solidarity partners also maintain a presence, with France ADOT 67/68 hosting an information stand to welcome attendees throughout the day.

Access to the Gambsheim event is located at the zone de loisirs via rue de la Gravière, with designated parking available along rue de la Dordogne.
