Gabriel Sara opened the scoring for the Turkish champions after 15 minutes, capitalizing on a clearance from Bremer. Juventus responded quickly, with Teun Koopmeiners leveling the score less than 85 seconds later, heading in from a Pierre Kalulu cross. Koopmeiners then put Juventus ahead shortly after the half-hour mark, firing a shot into the top-left corner from the edge of the box.
Noa Lang equalized for Galatasaray four minutes into the second half. Davinson Sanchez then gave Galatasaray the lead, flicking in a thunderous free-kick from Sara.
