Berlin-In a move signaling long-term stability, Füchse Berlin, perhaps on the cusp of their first German championship, have prematurely extended Hakun West Av Teigum’s contract until 2028. The initial contract was set to expire in 2026.

Teigum’s Journey
Originally from the Faroe Islands,Teigum began his career with H71 Höyvík before moving to Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold in Denmark in 2018. His performance in Denmark caught the attention of Füchse Berlin, where he became a German runner-up in his first season.
Stepping Up
Teigum joined Füchse Berlin in the summer of 2023, initially forming a right-wing partnership with Hans Lindberg. Following Lindberg’s departure, Teigum has taken on a more prominent role, playing alongside Tobias Reichmann and later Leo Prantner.
