Free VPN for Xuper TV: Watch from Mexico on Android TV & Google TV

February 11, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

Users in Mexico are regaining access to streaming content previously blocked on the Xuper TV application through the apply of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), according to reports circulating online. The workaround involves connecting to a VPN server located in Mexico, allowing users to bypass content restrictions imposed by the streaming service.

While several VPN options exist, Proton VPN and Planet Free VPN are being widely recommended for their stability and ease of use. Both are available free of charge for smartphones, Android TV and Google TV devices via the official Play Store. Once installed, the configuration process is straightforward: users open the VPN application, navigate to the free server list, and select a location within Mexico.

Following the establishment of a VPN connection, opening the Xuper TV application reportedly restores access to previously unavailable content. The application requires security validation each time it is launched while a VPN is active.

Users have also discovered a method to improve streaming quality while using a free VPN. Reports indicate that disconnecting the VPN after a channel or movie has begun playing allows the stream to utilize the user’s home internet bandwidth directly, resulting in a more stable and higher-resolution viewing experience. Xuper TV continues to function normally after the VPN is disconnected, maintaining access to the unlocked content.

Proton VPN, a service highlighted for its privacy features, offers unlimited data and no speed limits on its free plan, according to its website. The company states it has over 15,000 servers in more than 120 countries, including over 30 in Mexico. Proton VPN emphasizes a no-logs policy and adherence to Swiss data protection laws.

Planet Free VPN, another recommended option, advertises itself as 100% unlimited and secure, requiring no registration. The application features a killswitch function that automatically disconnects internet access if the VPN server connection is lost, and offers 11 free server locations worldwide.

While Proton VPN does not offer free servers directly within Mexico, its Quick Connect feature can connect users to the nearest available server, potentially including those in neighboring countries that may provide access to Xuper TV content.
