Franco Colapinto & Maia Reficco: Racing Star Dating Actress

Franco Colapinto, the Argentine Formula 1 driver, is reportedly dating actress and singer Maia Reficco, according to confirmations made Monday on the Argentinian television program La mañana con Moria.

Journalist Gustavo Méndez, appearing on the program, stated that the relationship between Colapinto and Reficco has progressed to the point of being official, and that Reficco has relocated to Madrid to be closer to the driver. “Estamos hablando que ya son novios porque ella se mudó a Madrid para estar cerca de él,” Méndez said, as reported by Ciudad.com.ar.

The pair’s connection began earlier this year, with a photograph of Reficco wearing Colapinto’s helmet sparking initial speculation. Méndez also revealed that the couple has been seen together in Monaco, dining at prominent restaurants. TN.com.ar reported that the relationship began as a “summer romance” and has since deepened.

Colapinto, 20, is currently competing in Formula 1. Reficco, born July 14, 2000, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Argentinian parents, has achieved recognition for her perform in musical theatre, including a role as Eva Perón in a Broadway production of Evita, and for her work in television, and film. She recently completed filming a movie in Atlanta, according to reports.

The budding relationship has already received familial approval, with Méndez noting that Colapinto has been sending messages to Reficco’s grandmother, a gesture described as “very tender” by eltrecetv.com.ar. The grandmother, who resides in Argentina, is reportedly “delighted” with Colapinto.

Reficco is expected to accompany Colapinto to the Japanese Grand Prix later this week, according to Méndez. Colapinto is scheduled to continue the 2026 Formula 1 circuit in Japan.
