Santiago,Chile – Television personality Francisco Kaminski has addressed his connection to José Felipe Reyes Ossa, known as the “King of Meiggs,” who was recently the victim of a homicide investigated by the PDI (Policía de Investigaciones) in the Central Station district of Santiago. The interview, conducted by José Antonio Neme adn Francisca García-Huidobro for Mega’s “Onyl Fama,” also touched upon Kaminski’s financial situation, including a reported debt to his former wife,Edith Poblete.

Kaminski detailed his decade-long relationship with Reyes Ossa, beginning around 2015 when he was working as an independent producer creating programs for cable television. Reyes Ossa approached Kaminski to sponsor his import businesses located in the Meiggs commercial sector, a historically significant trading hub in Santiago. Kaminski reciprocated by inviting Reyes Ossa to concerts he organized and becoming acquainted with his family and friends.

“We met 10 years ago when I had a producer and did programs for cable. In this context of external producer, what we did was self-infinitue, go out to look for our sponsors,” kaminski stated. He emphasized that Reyes Ossa never offered him loans to resolve debts, but rather offered financial assistance as a gesture of friendship. “He never lent me money to pay a debt, on the contrary, he offered me money to pay what he should. As if it were anyone who loves you and wants to help you solve,” Kaminski explained.

Kaminski also revealed Reyes Ossa’s support during his separation from Carla Fabiano, his former partner. He described Reyes Ossa as a close friend who was consistently present during a arduous period in his life. The homicide investigation is ongoing, with authorities focusing on potential links to Reyes Ossa’s business dealings as an informal lender in the Meiggs area.

Beyond the Reyes Ossa case, Kaminski addressed ongoing scrutiny regarding a reported debt of approximately CLP $80 million (approximately USD $95,000 as of August 9, 2025) to Edith Poblete, stemming from a property dispute related to a department located in the Providencia commune of Santiago. The situation with his son, Mariano, was also briefly mentioned, though details were limited.
