Apple TV subscribers in the United States will gain access to Dolby Atmos alongside Dolby Vision for Formula 1 race broadcasts starting with the United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin, Texas, which begins on October 23. Apple Secures US Streaming Rights for Formula 1
Apple secured U.S. streaming rights to Formula 1 in a five-year deal beginning with the 2026 season. Subscribers can watch practice, qualifying, sprint sessions, and races live or on-demand without paying an extra fee on top of their standard Apple TV subscription. The service also features Multiview options that combine main race broadcasts with onboard feeds, alongside real-time data and podium views.
While Apple holds exclusive coverage rights in the United States, company officials have previously indicated a desire to expand coverage into additional markets.
