Park, addressed the confusion on social media, stating, “You know how they always upload me to confuse people but it’s not me, well the one in the image is me but I’m not going to go.” this clarifies that the wrestler appearing at worlds Collide is the *third* iteration of the character, not the original.
The history of the La Parka character is complex. The original wrestler competed for AAA and WCW throughout the 1990s before a dispute with AAA led to a second performer taking on the mantle.That second La Parka wrestled until a severe injury in 2019, and afterward passed away several months later.
