Forbes 30 Under 30 Belgium: Rising Stars in Business & Innovation

Angèle and Minister ‍Simonet Recognized in Forbes ⁤Belgium’s “30 under 30” List

Forbes ‌Belgium has released its annual “30 ⁤Under 30” list, spotlighting the nation’s most promising young entrepreneurs, scientists,​ creatives, and leaders. This year’s selection includes a diverse range⁣ of individuals excelling in fields like finance, science, marketing, fashion, industry, and art. Notably, ten of the thirty honorees are residents​ of Brussels.

Among those ‌recognized ⁤are Federal Minister for the Middle Classes, Self-employed and SMEs Eléonore Simonet (MR), and internationally ‍acclaimed pop artist Angèle. Their inclusion ​highlights⁢ the breadth of talent represented on the list, ⁤extending beyond the business world to encompass public ⁣service and⁤ the arts.

Several other ‍Brussels-based individuals were also featured. Maxime Loison, 27, ‌co-founder of ⁢the ⁣online candy retailer my ⁢American Shop,​ earned a spot, as did Germain deflandre,​ the 22-year-old CEO of SEO consultancy MentionBox. Lionel⁣ Janssens, responsible for marketing and communications for the luxury and sports brands within car group D’Ieteren’s retail division, was also selected.

The list​ further includes ⁤fashion⁣ designer Marie-Adam Leenaerdt ‍(a La Cambre alumna), Marvin​ Ndiaye,‍ founder‍ of food delivery service Fresheo, the founding duo of architectural​ firm Erased Studio – Paul-Emile de Smedt and Elliott housiaux – and Robbe Vandewyngaerde, co-founder of the design and art ⁢gallery‌ Objects With Narratives. ‌

Rounding out the Brussels‌ representation are athletes Jérémy Doku (trained at RSC Anderlecht) and cyclist ​Remco Evenepoel.

A jury comprised of Forbes editors evaluated ‌the candidates. The honorees will be⁢ officially ⁤celebrated at the “30 Under 30 Summit” on Friday at the Winter Circus in Ghent, an ‍event sponsored by billionaire Marc Coucke, owner of RSCA.
