Foo Fighters: New Single ‘Caught In The Echo’ & 2024/2027 Tour Dates
Foo Fighters released “Caught In The Echo” on Wednesday, March 20, 2026, the opening track from their forthcoming twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy, set to launch April 24 via Roswell Records/Columbia Records. The single arrives as the band prepares for an extensive world tour.
The release of “Caught In The Echo” follows the previously shared tracks “Asking For A Friend” and the album’s title track, “Your Favorite Toy,” which The New York Times described as “back-to-basics garage-rock delivered in a welter of noisy guitars.”
Your Favorite Toy is the follow-up to 2023’s But Here We Are, an album released in the wake of the sudden death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins on March 25, 2022, in Bogotá, Colombia. Colombian authorities indicated a preliminary toxicology test revealed Hawkins had ten substances in his system at the time of his death, including opioids, benzodiazepines, anti-depressants and THC.
This week, frontman Dave Grohl addressed recent public scrutiny regarding his personal life, acknowledging the fallout from his announcement of a child with someone outside of his marriage. Grohl stated he “wound up in a place that I needed to stop and sit with myself and re-evaluate myself,” according to reports.
The band’s “Capture Cover” world tour begins with a series of US dates in April and May, including a performance at the Welcome To Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida on May 8, and the Bottlerock Napa Valley festival in California on May 23. The tour then extends to Europe from June to July, with stops in Oslo, Stockholm, Warsaw, Munich, Paris, Landgraaf, Liverpool, Berlin, Vienna, Milan, Madrid, and Lisbon. A North American leg will follow from August to September, culminating in Australian dates beginning in November and extending into January 2027.
Tickets for the tour are currently available through the Foo Fighters website. The band, currently comprised of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin, released 20 personally burned CDs of “Caught In The Echo”, each featuring individually hand-drawn artwork by Dave and Harper Grohl, in various locations throughout the San Fernando Valley.
