Five AFL Trade Targets for Port Adelaide Power

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is reportedly at the top of Port Adelaide’s wishlist, with the Power keen to lure the St Kilda star to Alberton. Wanganeen-Milera, who is enjoying a breakout season, has strong connections to the Power through his friendships with Jason Horne-Francis and Jase Burgoyne.

The 22-year-old has been a revelation for the Saints, showcasing his versatility by playing across half-back, through the midfield, and even forward. St Kilda coach Ross Lyon has likened his ability to impact games in multiple roles to that of Adelaide great Andrew McLeod.

Port Adelaide is understood to be seeking a player who can provide a point of difference across all three lines. The addition of Wanganeen-Milera would further bolster an already strong on-ball brigade, which has seen captain Connor Rozee deployed in defense at times.

Despite interest from other clubs, including Adelaide, Port Adelaide is considered a strong contender for Wanganeen-Milera’s signature. Though,a meaningful hurdle for the Power is their lack of a first-round draft selection, which would likely be a key component in any trade for the talented youngster.
