Fire Damages Business in Farranfore Industrial Park

A significant fire has caused substantial damage to a business located in farranfore Business Park.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene early Sunday morning, July 27th, to combat a blaze that reportedly began around 4:30 AM. Fire crews worked throughout the morning to bring the fire under control.

The affected business is Diamant Linen, identified as one of Europe’s largest commercial linen laundries and a significant employer. The company provides services to the hospitality sector throughout Ireland and operates from 4 Park Business Center, near Farranfore village.

while the full extent of the damage is still being assessed, the warehouse unit has sustained considerable harm, including to its roof. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.

An Garda Síochána confirmed their attendance at the incident. A statement released by the Gardaí read: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending a fire at a business premises in Farranfore, this morning, Sunday, July 27.”

No injuries have been reported in connection with the fire.
