Finexity and OneCrowd Administrator Sign LOI for Project Transfer
Finexity AG and its subsidiary Finexity Invest GmbH are set to receive the exclusive right to take over the administration of around 70 ongoing financing projects and a funding volume of around 33.6 million euros from the crowdsourcing platform OneCrowd, according to reporting by der-indat.de and BBL LAW. The agreement, framed in a signed letter of intent, provides a transition path for 101,000 registered users after insolvency proceedings formally opened on October 1, 2026.
Restructuring the Crowdinvesting Infrastructure in Dresden and Hamburg
The operational pivot follows insolvency filings submitted to the District Court of Dresden by OneCrowd GmbH and its subsidiaries OneCrowd Securities GmbH and OneCrowd Loans GmbH. Dr. Christian Heintze of the law firm BBL was appointed insolvency administrator for the parent company, alongside provisional administrators assigned to the lending and securities arms. To prevent an abrupt operational halt during the handoff, Finexity AG has provided a financial grant to the insolvency estate. This funding keeps the onecrowd.de platform operational through October 31, 2026, with an option to extend the bridge period by up to two additional months.
Sanierungsexperte Dr. Christian Heintze, as cited by BBL LAW, stated that they are very pleased to have found a well-known partner in the FINEXITY Group that will take over the administration of ongoing projects and enable OneCrowd issuers to continue their investor relations.

Impact on Issuers and the 30,000 Active Investors
The transaction encompasses approximately 30,000 retail investors who hold active financial commitments across the platform’s historical footprint, which consolidated the Seedmatch, Econeers, and Mezzany brands before 2025. Simultaneously, issuers tied to the 33.6 million euro funding volume face short-term offers to execute new servicing agreements directly with the acquiring entity. The registered users, including about 30,000 investors who have already invested, receive the opportunity to register on a platform of the FINEXITY Group to continue tracking their investments there.
OneCrowd Terminates Seven Employees During Migration
Streamlining operations for the migration required structural adjustments to OneCrowd’s internal workforce. BBL LAW confirmed that all seven employees received notices of termination. Five staff members were released immediately to facilitate early professional reorientation, while two remaining employees will manage day-to-day platform operations and coordinate the technical migration to Finexity. Final execution of the transfer remains subject to the negotiation and closing of definitive legal contracts between the parties.
BBL Firm Manages OneCrowd Insolvency Proceedings
The Dresden court appointed provisional insolvency administrators from the BBL firm for all three entities, specifically naming Heiko Schaefer as provisional administrator for OneCrowd Loans GmbH and Christian Graf Brockdorff for OneCrowd Securities GmbH. Operating formally as BBL Brockdorff Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, the restructuring firm maintains a nationwide presence with over 200 employees, including 50 lawyers, alongside an office in London.
