Filipina Care-taker Hurt In Iranian Barrage Succumbs To Wounds

Filipino National Succumbs to Injuries from Rehovot Missile Strike

Embassy Confirms 30th Fatality in Iranian Attack

A Filipino national working in Israel has died from wounds sustained during last month’s Iranian missile attack. The Embassy of the Philippines in Israel confirmed the passing of **Leah Mosquera** on Sunday, marking another tragic loss from the June 15 incident that targeted Rehovot.

A Month of Struggle and Surgeries

Leah Mosquera, a 49-year-old caregiver, was rushed to Shamir Medical Center in Be’er Ya’akov after the attack. She endured multiple surgeries in the subsequent weeks as medical professionals attempted to save her life. Her sister, **Joy**, who also works in Israel as a caregiver, authorized the public announcement of her death.

The attack, which involved Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, has now resulted in 30 fatalities within Israel. This escalation followed strikes on Iranian nuclear and ballistic missile programs, which reportedly eliminated numerous high-ranking commanders.

Deadly Escalation

The strikes on Israel are part of a wider regional conflict, with Iran retaliating for actions against its military and nuclear infrastructure. This incident underscores the escalating tensions and the significant human cost of these wider geopolitical conflicts.
