Felicia Day: Santa Fe Stop on The Lost Daughter of Sparta Tour
Santa Fe marked the final stop on author Felicia Day’s book tour for her graphic novel, “The Lost Daughter of Sparta,” according to a social media post from the author on Sunday. The tour, promoting the feminist retelling of the myth of Philonoe, Helen of Troy’s sister, concluded after a conversation with George R.R. Martin at the Jean Cocteau Cinema on March 22nd.
The event at the Jean Cocteau Cinema featured a discussion between Day and Martin about the graphic novel, which reimagines the story of Philonoe. General admission tickets were priced at $45 and included a copy of Day’s book, according to event details.
Day, known for her roles in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Supernatural,” is also an actress, singer, producer, and web series creator. “The Lost Daughter of Sparta” was released on March 17th, 2026, and has been available for pre-order, as noted on Day’s Facebook page.
The Santa Fe appearance was one of two additions to the original book tour schedule, with a stop also added in Seattle, according to a TikTok video posted by Day. Collected Works bookstore in Santa Fe also hosted author events this week, including presentations by oral historian Garrett M. Graff and photographers Craig Varjabedian, as well as Dorothy Denetclaw and Matt Fitzsimons discussing their book “The Sons of Gunshooter: A Navajo Resistance Story.”
