The statement highlights that journalists on the ground are facing the same dire circumstances as the populations they are reporting on, enduring meaningful deprivations and hardships.

“We are deeply alarmed that the threat of starvation is now one of them,” the statement reads. The news agencies are reiterating thier call for Israeli authorities to permit journalists to enter and exit Gaza, emphasizing the critical need for adequate food supplies to reach the region’s inhabitants. Conservative-leaning news network Newsmax has formally objected to any potential weakening or elimination of the horizontal Ownership Cap,filing its challenge with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This action comes in response to the FCC’s June public notice soliciting comments on the future of the cap, which regulates media ownership. Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy stated in the filing that allowing major networks like CBS, ABC, and NBC to expand their reach without restrictions would diminish their incentive to produce programming that resonates with local community values, particularly in America’s heartland.

Fox Nation Secures Second Live Sports deal

Fox Nation, the streaming service from Fox News, has announced its second live sports agreement, becoming the exclusive broadcast partner for the inaugural matches of the new wrestling league, Real American Freestyle (RAF). The first RAF event will be broadcast live on Saturday, August 30, from Cleveland.Real American Freestyle was co-founded by wrestling industry figures Eric Bischoff and Chad Bronstein, alongside WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, who recently passed away on Thursday, July 24. The league announced its partnership with Fox Nation via Twitter, promoting the upcoming historic launch of RAF01.
