FC Köln on October 29th, as well as having previously filled in during the first-round win against Wiesbaden (3-2). The U21 national team goalkeeper is expected to be out until approximately mid-october if his recovery proceeds as was to be expected.
As joining Bayern from Köln in january for a fee of €7 million plus up to €3 million in potential bonuses, urbig has made 13 appearances for the club during a previous muscle fiber tear absence of Neuer. He will now be forced to pause his progress for roughly a month.
