FC Barcelona Athletic Secures Late Victory Over EU Porreres in 2nd RFEF Debut

Palma, Spain – FC Barcelona athletic kicked off their 2nd RFEF campaign with a dramatic 2-0 victory over EU Porreres on Sunday at the Johan cruyff Stadium. both goals came in added time, securing the win for the barça subsidiary after a tightly contested match.

the “Porrerencs” employed a defensive low block,proving difficult for the Barcelona side to break down despite dominating possession. Sama Nomoko and Toni Fernández were the most threatening players for Barça,with Nomoko causing constant problems on the right flank and Fernández delivering perilous set pieces. EU Porreres attempted to capitalize on counterattacks, but were repeatedly thwarted by the Barcelona defense and goalkeeper eder Aller. Nomoko nearly opened the scoring before halftime, hitting the crossbar with a powerful shot.

The second half saw Barça struggle initially to create clear chances, with Aller again intervening to deny a visitor’s goal from a direct free kick. Substitutions,including Aziz,injected fresh energy into the Barcelona attack,exposing cracks in the Porreres defense. A penalty claim for Barça was waved away by referee Héctor Bouzas.

The breakthrough finally arrived in the 91st minute when Víctor Barberà headed home a cross from joan Anaya (1-0). Toni Fernández then sealed the victory in the 94th minute, finishing a counterattack assisted by Barberà (2-0).
