OPES Exam Dates Finalized for Several Asturias Healthcare Categories – Clinical Analysis Scheduled for Sunday afternoon
Oviedo, Spain - Final exam schedules have been published for several categories within the Asturian Healthcare Service’s (SESPA) competitive exam process (OPES), according to recent updates. The listings,officially released in the Boletín Oficial del Principado de Asturias (BOPA) on Tuesday,October 7th,detail dates,times,and locations for the opposition exercises.
The first five published categories will hold their exams on Saturday, November 29th at the Faculty of Medicine and health Sciences in Oviedo (C/Julián Clavería 6). These include Primary Care Pediatrics, Primary Care Pharmaceutical, and a series of “Ugly” (likely referring to practical/clinical rotations) in specialties like Intensive Medicine, Hematology and Hemotherapy, Microbiology and Parasitology, Cardiology, Neurology, Pneumology, Psychiatry, Urology, Pathological Anatomy, Radio, and Public Health Technician.
Sunday, November 30th is designated for exams in Internal Medicine, Hospital Pharmacy, Hospital Emergency Medicine, Odontomatology, and Pediatrics with its specific areas.Clinical Analysis is scheduled for Sunday, November 30th in the afternoon.
Further definitive listings for remaining categories are expected to be published in the BOPA between Wednesday, October 15th and Friday, October 17th, with Primary Care listings anticipated the following week. However, these dates remain subject to administrative timelines.
Exam Format:
All opposition phases will consist of a 120-minute exam featuring a 100-question multiple-choice test with four answer options, only one of which is correct. The test is weighted at a maximum of 100 points.
* 20 questions will cover general topics.
* 80 questions will focus on the specific specialty.
* There will be 15 reserve questions for potential cancellations.
Correct answers will be positively scored, while unanswered or incorrect answers will not be penalized. A minimum score of 50 points is required to pass the exam.
