Vesia, 29, is entering his second season with a $3.55 million contract option exercised by the Dodgers after the 2025 season, according to multiple reports. He was a key component of the Dodgers’ bullpen during their successful 2025 campaign, posting a 4-2 record with a 3.02 ERA in 68 regular season appearances. He allowed no runs in six of his seven postseason appearances, contributing to the team’s World Series victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

The 2025 season, however, was marked by personal tragedy for Vesia. He was away from the team during the World Series as his wife, Kayla, prepared to give birth. The couple subsequently announced the loss of their baby, Sterling Sol, in late October.
