Despite some pre-show social media criticism regarding the cast of Expedition Robinson, the survival program captivated 1.33 million viewers, securing its position as the evening’s top performer.
The extraordinary viewership for Expedition Robinson, which began at 8:00 pm, paved the way for RTL Tonight. The new program, described as a panel show featuring expert analysis of current events, attracted 897,000 viewers in its premiere episode – a figure anticipated given the strong lead-in.
Elsewhere on Dutch television, NPO 1’s The Max Orchestra drew 975,000 viewers, though ratings declined during the subsequent Musical Awards kick-off to 669,000.The final episode of Summer casters with Herman Koch garnered 295,000 viewers.
SBS 6 saw success with Hélène Hendriks’ debut of The Oranjezondag, which reached 793,000 viewers, significantly outperforming a repeat broadcast of Mr. Frank Visser which drew 363,000.
