Exeter Chiefs launched a video series highlighting the intensive work required to maintain the professional rugby playing surface at Sandy Park, sportindustry.co.uk reported. The club finalized an agreement with DGM Ltd, formerly Devon Garden Machinery, to serve as its official grounds partner for the rugby season.
The partnership brings machinery, servicing, and technical support to the club grounds team as they manage pitch preparation, aeration, drainage, feeding, line marking, and turf health under varying weather conditions.
Pitch quality remains a central focus for elite rugby venues hosting both Gallagher Premiership fixtures and international matches, such as the recent sold-out Red Roses fixture against Canada.

Racecourse Media Group Extends 33 Shareholder Agreements Through 2033
Racecourse Media Group (RMG) secured long-term extensions to the media and data rights agreements of 33 British racecourse shareholders, running through December 31, 2033, sportindustry.co.uk reported. The renewal covers streaming, direct-to-home broadcasting, terrestrial television, international betting, and pre-race and race-day data rights ahead of the prior expiration date in December 2028.
The portfolio secures broadcast rights for major events including the Randox Grand National, Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup, Betfred Derby, Qatar Sussex Stakes, and Juddmonte International Stakes through at least 2034. The participating courses include Jockey Club Racecourses, York, Goodwood, Ayr, and 16 independent tracks.
Outgoing RMG Chair Conor Grant stated that the collective commitment is a powerful endorsement of the racecourse ownership model created in 2004. RMG CEO Nick Mills added that every pound of profit generated by the business is returned to racecourses to support prize money, facilities, and investment across the sport.
STRAUSS Extends NFL International Partnership to London and Munich
Workwear manufacturer STRAUSS extended its NFL partnership across the 2026 International Games schedule, sportindustry.co.uk reported.
