Evloev Defeats Murphy & Calls Out Volkanovski for Title Shot | UFC Fight News
Movsar Evloev secured a majority decision victory over Lerone Murphy at the UFC London event on Saturday, immediately issuing a challenge to featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Following the bout, Evloev addressed the crowd at the O2 Arena, stating, “He mentioned my name a lot of times and I accept his challenge. Let’s fight. UFC, there is no excuses to not let me fight for the title.” Evloev also joked about his striking prowess, saying, “I told you I was a better striker than him – joking!,” before elaborating on his strategy. “Me and my coach were preparing more fakes, takedowns and punches. I think my punches are hard, I can hurt the opponent. Look at his face. he is damaged. I don’t have to use my wrestling to get the win.”
