KATOWICE, POLAND – San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan will miss the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025 tournament due to a calf injury sustained during a national team training session earlier this week. Medical evaluations confirmed he will be unable to recover in time for competition, marking a significant setback for the Polish national team.
National Team Director Lukasz Koszarek expressed the team’s disappointment,stating,”We are very sorry that Jeremy’s summer wiht the national team ends so soon. He is a valued member of our squad and has a great connection with the team.” Sochan, who averaged 11.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists for the Spurs during the 2023-24 NBA season, was expected to be a key contributor for Poland.
