Chelsea‘s Estêvão Continues Goalscoring Run in Brazil Victory
LONDON – Estêvão, the 18-year-old Chelsea forward, continued his impressive recent form by scoring for Brazil in a 2-0 friendly win against Senegal on Saturday. The goal, scored at the Emirates Stadium in London, marks his seventh in his last eleven appearances for both club and country. he has now found the net in each of his five starts during that period – twice for Brazil and three times for Chelsea.
The recent goal comes after Estêvão’s dramatic late winner against Liverpool in early October, a match that appears to have sparked a meaningful upturn in his performance. His consistent scoring ability is drawing attention and bolstering hopes for his future impact at Chelsea and with the Brazilian national team.
Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti praised Estêvão’s talent following the match, stating, “Estêvão plays more openly on the right [wing]; he has incredible talent.
