TF1 Series Films to Air Equalizer 2 Tonight, Showcasing Denzel Washington‘s Late-Career Action Star Turn
tonight, TF1 Series Films broadcasts Equalizer 2, the 2018 sequel starring Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, a former secret agent dispensing justice to the exploited and oppressed. The film sees mccall pushed to his limits when someone he cares about is threatened.
Washington’s embrace of the action genre represents a surprising, yet triumphant, career pivot. Following in the footsteps of Liam Neeson with the Taken saga, Washington redefined expectations with the frist Equalizer film, adapted from the 1980s television series. Equalizer 2 continues this trajectory, delivering “ultra-effective entertainment” with particularly well-executed action sequences.
