Consumer Reports evaluated providers based on several key factors:

- Speed: Performance in delivering advertised internet speeds.
- Technical Support: effectiveness and helpfulness of support services.
- Customer Service: Overall satisfaction with customer interactions.
EPB distinguished itself by earning five out of five in each of these critical areas.
Fiber Optic Networks Lead in Customer Satisfaction
The Consumer Reports study highlighted a significant trend: fiber optic internet customers reported higher satisfaction levels compared to users of other technologies, including 5G cellular and satellite.
Nationally, fiber optic customers experienced higher satisfaction than all other types, outranking 5G cellular, satellite and others.
