Enpara Customers: IBANs too Change as Bank Fully Separates from QNB
Istanbul, Türkiye – September 26, 2025 – Enpara, a leading digital bank in Türkiye, is completing its separation from QNB Finansbank, becoming a fully independent financial institution. As part of this transition, all Enpara customers with active accounts will receive new IBAN numbers starting tomorrow, September 27, 2025.
The change stems from Enpara no longer being able to utilize the ‘111’ prefix previously allocated by QNB for its ibans. Over 3 million enpara customers are affected adn are advised to monitor communications from the bank via email and SMS for their updated IBAN details.
To minimize disruption, QNB will automatically redirect any EFT and SWIFT transfers sent to old Enpara IBANs to the new accounts for a period of 90 days, preventing issues with payments like rent.
The separation also impacts credit card limits. Previously shared between QNB and Enpara, customers will now have two independent credit card limits, one for each bank. Customers will be able to determine how to allocate their existing credit limit between the two accounts.
The system updates supporting this transition will cause intermittent service interruptions between 04:00-09:00 AM local time on September 27, 2025. Enpara received operational approval for the separation last year and has been preparing for the final stages of the process.
