Ella Langley & Hardy’s “Be Her” Signals Rising Country Star Power | New Music Alert

Country music singer Ella Langley is building momentum toward the release of her upcoming album, Dandelion, with the new single “Be Her,” a collaboration with Hardy. The song, released just weeks after Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” gained traction, has already sparked enthusiastic reactions from fans.

Hardy, a prolific songwriter for artists including Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton and Chris Lane, co-wrote “Be Her” with Langley, Smith Ahnquist, and Jordan Schmidt. He described the songwriting process as remarkably swift, stating, “When we started writing it, I knew ‘Be Her’ was going to be a hit. It’s one of those songs that just writes itself. We finished it in 30 minutes.”

Langley first previewed “Choosin’ Texas” live in February 2025 at a concert in Nacogdoches, Texas, before its official release on October 17, 2025. The song, co-written with Miranda Lambert, Luke Dick, and Joybeth Taylor, quickly resonated with audiences and has been praised for its celebration of Texas culture. Lambert similarly provides background vocals on the track.

The inspiration for “Choosin’ Texas” stemmed from a story Lambert shared during a songwriting retreat in October 2024. According to Langley, Lambert recounted a humorous incident involving a traffic stop with her pet kangaroo, prompting Langley to formulate the lyric, “She’s from Texas, I can share.”

Fans have responded positively to “Be Her,” with many taking to social media to express their excitement. Comments highlighted Langley’s rising star power and the song’s catchy melody. One fan wrote, “I discovered Ella just two months ago, I wish I’d known about her years ago. She’s going to be a huge star. I love everything she does.” Another stated, “Just go ahead and give her best album of the year, hit after hit.”

Hardy, who has spent years honing his craft as a songwriter, expressed his admiration for Langley’s talent, saying, “They’re always the best ones. It’s so fun to watch Ella and her rocket ship, and I’m really glad to be a part of it.”

While “Be Her” explores the theme of striving to be the ideal partner, fan reactions suggest Langley has already achieved a prominent position within the country music landscape. With Dandelion scheduled for release in April, Langley appears poised to continue her upward trajectory.
