Yamaha WR125R Returns After Decade-Long Hiatus at EICMA 2025
Milan, Italy – November 7, 2025 - Yamaha unveiled a series of updates at the EICMA motorcycle trade fair today, with the return of the WR125R after a twelve-year absence generating important buzz. The reintroduced model boasts a 15-horsepower,single-cylinder engine with variable valve control and a KYB chassis,signaling Yamaha’s renewed focus on the 125cc segment.
The WR125R’s comeback caters too a growing demand for accessible and technologically advanced entry-level motorcycles, particularly among younger riders.
