Egypt’s “100 Health Days” Campaign Provides 5.47 Million Free Medical Services

100 Health Days” Campaign Delivers Over 5.4 million Free Medical Services in Four Days

Cairo, egypt – The ministry of health and Population has announced a remarkable achievement in its ongoing “100 Health Days” campaign, with over 5.4 million free medical services provided to citizens across the Republic in just the first four days of its third edition. The campaign, which commenced on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and the overall efficiency of the national health system.

The initiative is being executed under the direct directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Progress and minister of Health and Population, who emphasized the critical role of national health programs in achieving thorough health coverage.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar,the official spokesperson for the Ministry,detailed the campaign’s early success,reporting that 405,908 free medical services were delivered on the second day alone. This widespread provision of care is a collaborative effort, involving 12 distinct sectors, each playing a vital role in the campaign’s objectives. The basic care and family planning sector, for instance, contributed approximately 60,112 services.

Further breakdown of the services reveals critically important contributions from various specialized areas. The therapeutic care sector provided 147,108 services,while presidential initiatives for public health saw 53,200 services rendered. The preventive medicine sector was instrumental in delivering 6,402 services.

The General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes facilitated 19,518 services, and the mental health initiative, “Your Health Happiness,” offered 2,856 services. Additionally, the General Authority for Health Insurance hospitals provided 7,071 services.

Emergency response was bolstered by the ambulance authority, which delivered 4,468 emergency services.hospitals under the Specialized Medical Centers provided 47,766 services, including the completion of 576 operations from waiting lists. The medical institution’s hospitals also contributed 5,605 services.

Beyond direct medical interventions, the “100 Health Days” campaign is actively engaged in public health education. Community communication teams have been deployed to public spaces, clubs, and commercial centers across governorates, reaching 51,226 citizens with vital health awareness and educational information. These efforts aim to inform the public about available services and encourage proactive health management through educational seminars and diverse awareness activities.
